Fjellborg Arctic Lodge

Fjellborg Arctic Lodge

Northern Sweden, Arctic Lapland

Sitting on the top of Europe under the Northern Lights in a magical unspoiled wilderness, the Fjellborg family has been here for 300 years

A sparsely populated area of great natural beauty, Arctic Lapland is an exciting destination for adventure minded travellers. It is one of the best spots from which to witness the Northern Lights and there are lots of things to do in the super-fresh outdoors, from ice fishing and dog sledding to ice sculpting, snow-mobiling, snow shoeing and learning about the indigenous people. A fun trip is over to the Ice Hotel to have a look at this amazing structure, learn about its construction and have a drink at the Ice Bar!

The Fjellborg family has been in this region for nine generations, growing up exploring the wilderness and learning its ways – so they have almost got the hang of it now! They delight in sharing its secrets and organising all manner of fun things to do and because they are so uniquely well-established (we don’t know of any other family-run hotel in its ninth generation), they own and operate all the activities. This means that everything is perfectly tailored to your needs and waiting exclusively for you.

The Fjellborg Arctic Lodge is sold on an exclusive basis. You and your party will be the only guests there and the luxurious Master Cabin is all yours! Distinctively Northern in style and ambiance, the ground floor has a large entertaining area with open fire and three bedrooms and the fourth, master bedroom is upstairs. Supremely comfortable, there is sauna, heating under the floor, WiFi if needed and the chef is at your disposal.

Chef believes in cooking fresh and local – fish, game, vegetables and berries – and if you happen to catch something during your stay, he enjoys nothing more than serving it up that evening, appropriately dressed. Dine in the privacy of your Cabin or next door in the Main Lodge where drinks and epic stories await!
